Ready-To-Read Storytime for 5 - 8 year olds

4:00pm

Children who have entered grade school journey towards being readers, but they still love listening to stories! This program is designed to support your emergent reader by sharing a sample of stories & series that are geared toward various levels of early readers, & get them excited to use their new reading skills on the sequels later. Stories are followed by a craft, and we finish up the 60 minute session with a snack.

MLK/Peace Pin Making

5:00pm - 8:00pm

Try out our new pin-on button machine and celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. at the same time! Create your own design, we'll print it out, and then turn it into a cool pin-on button!

Movie: Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero

Enjoy a free movie on this early release day from school! Common Sense Media says "Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero is based on the true story of a stray Boston Terrier that becomes part of the U.S. Army's Yankee Division in World War I, accompanies soldiers to the western front, and ends up the most decorated war dog in American history!" Sing With Me! Music Program for Preschoolers & Their Grown-ups

If you have a little one who loves music, this program is for you! Join us for a half-hour of adult-&-child singing, clapping, and stomping along to favorite kids’ songs, with occasional musical instruments or accompanying books thrown in! No need to register, just drop in! Please note that adult participation is expected for this program - and it's fun!

Pop Culture Collective

3:00pm - 6:00pm

Unite for an afternoon of broad-spectrum fandom! Each week will have a different theme - anime, Pokemon, Steven Universe, Star Wars, cosplay, superheroes, & more - discuss, play, watch, and geek out! 

This club is open to ages 16 - 22, and all are welcome!

Story-and-Play for 2-3 year olds

This winter we will enjoy stories, games, songs, and crafts about sea creatures. The 45 minute storytime includes 15 minutes for free play, 15 minutes of stories, fingerplays & songs, and 15 minutes of craft and snacktime. The session runs 6 weeks, weather permitting. 

This program is crafted specifically for the attention span and interest level of toddlers. If your child is older than 3 or has a greater capacity for sitting and listening to stories you may want to consider our storytime for 3-5 year olds, which runs on Mondays at 10am.
