Hubcon Planning Group

The Hubbard Library hosts an anime/scifi Convention every summer, & we need help planning & preparing for it! Meetings will take place every other month during the winter & early spring, and then every month as the Con gets closer (mid-July 2018). Please click below to register.

Resume Writing

11:00am - 12:30pm

Sell yourself!  Learn various resume structures and find out what information to organize and present about yourself.  Both beginners and those with resumes who need resume updating are welcome to join us for this presentation.  Pick up other general tips like, what not to include.  Handouts will be distributed and time questions and answers will be provided at the end.  This program is presented on a volunteer basis by Elizabeth McKinstry, a reference librarian at Worcester Public Library.

Michael DeStefano presents The Composer’s Legacy

Author Event– If you enjoy book chats, join local author Michael DeStefano, who will be reading from his novel "The Composer's Legacy".  After the reading and discussion, Michael will sign and sell copies of his book and accompanying music CD. Registration is appreciated; feel free to just stop in!
