Cape Cod Modern House Architecture VIRTUAL Talk

6:30pm - 7:30pm

Cape Cod Modern House Trust

Betsy Bray will present an illustrated talk about mid-century modern houses built on the outer Cape in the 50’s and 60’s. She will focus on the work of the Cape Modern House Trust, a nonprofit that preserves modern houses in the Cape Cod National Seashore. Betsy loves sharing her enthusiasm for these little-known houses nestled in the woods of Wellfleet and Truro.

With travel orders still in place, this is a great way to see another place virtually, or learn more about what is right here in Massachusetts.  Come spring, go for a drive to see these homes for yourself.

Betsy, a Chatham resident, taught courses on this subject for lifetime learning courses for UMass Boston, Snow and Eldredge Libraries and the Open University of Wellfleet. She currently works for the Cape Cod Modern House Trust as a tour guide and project assistant.

Free, registration is required to access this virtual event's link, which will be sent the afternoon of the program.

In order to maintain internet safety, we require registration so that we can send you a private link and a password to get into the session, and will send you a new link and password each week.

Please click below to register, & make sure to provide your email address. Our website is currently experiencing some difficulties and you may get an error message after you register, but the registrations are going through; we will call you to let know we got the registration!
