Story-and-Play for 2 year olds

Time: 10:00am

Description:

The Story-and-Play session starts with a 15 minute free-play period, followed by about 15 minutes of stories and finger plays, & finishes up with a simple craft & a snack.

Each session runs about 45 minutes.

Please note that when you register your child, you are signing up for all 6 weeks. Please notify the Children's Department if you are unable to make a day.

Computer Intro: Understanding the Basics of Keyboard, Mouse & Email

Ready-To-Read Storytime for 5 - 8 year olds

Description:

Children who have entered grade school start their own journeys towards being readers, but they still love listening to stories! This program is designed to support your emergent reader by sharing a sample of stories & series that are geared toward various levels of early readers, & get them excited to use their new reading skills on the sequels later! Stories are followed by a craft, and we finish up the 60 minute session with a snack!

Explore Hubbard’s Databases with Pat

Description:

We have purchased new databases including Ancestry.com, A to Z Maps, A to Z World food, and A to Z USA.  Come in for a hands-on 75-minute overview of our newest databases with our library director.  Potentially find out who your ancestors were, information about their country of origin and then find a recipe for food from the homeland or just follow along and learn about these databases.  Please register at the circulation desk or by calling, space is limited to 8 participants.  Free!
