Commonwealth eBook Collections

The Massachusetts Library System has created a new catalog of eBooks and historical documents called Commonwealth eBook Collections.

There are three vendors providing content for this collection, each with their own app which you can access by clicking on the image links below:

Baker & Taylor – one of the largest distributors of books and media in the country.

Biblioboard – a new company that curates digital content of all kinds from all around the world.

EBL – a company that focuses on academic and research titles.

There are apps for each of these providers, and the content from Baker & Taylor’s Axis 360 and EBL can be accessed on your computer, tablet, or smartphone, while the content from Biblioboard can be accessed on your computer or tablet, but not a smartphone.

The following handouts will help you learn the basics of using these collections.

The Commonwealth eBook Collection is brought to you by the Massachusetts Library System in partnership with the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and your local library, funded in part, by the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
