View a local history photograph presentation by our director, Pat McGowan at Ludlow High School as part of the Ludlow 250th Semi-quincentennial Celebration Committee Town Hall style meeting.

Did you know that Ludlow celebrates its 250th birthday in 2024? The Ludlow 250th Semi-quincentennial Celebration Committee invites you to attend their first open Town Hall Meeting on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 6:00 pm at the Ludlow High School auditorium moderated by Mr. James Martin. Guest speakers will include State Representative Jacob Oliveira, who will share some wonderful news with us regarding our town’s celebration, Dr. William Koscher, a former Ludlow High School history teacher and one of our town historians, will speak of Ludlow’s interesting past history, and Mr. Patrick McGowan, Director of the Hubbard Memorial Library, will feature a wonderful display of original glass plate negatives that are over one-hundred years old and were donated to the town by WestMass during the on-going renovations at the Ludlow Mills. Once the presentations are completed, they will then gather in the cafeteria for a brainstorming session on what you, the public, would like to see for events celebrating Ludlow’s 250th birthday. Please join us to help plan this great year-long celebration in 2024 for all of Ludlow to remember!
