Adult Computers
In our Reference Room, we have 12 computers available to use. One of the 12 computers is a media computer. This computer has special software like Adobe Photoshop and VLC Media Player as well as an external scanner. To use the computers, you will need a current and up-to-date CWMARs library card in good standing (i.e. no late fees, no overdue items). If you do not have a library card, you can request a guest pass at the Circulation Desk. Per our policy, we will need a photo ID to look you up in our system before providing a guest pass.
The computers have no filtering software allowing you access the internet as you see fit. Please refer to our Internet Use Policy for what behaviors are not allowed on library computers.
The computers in the adult area of the library are for adults only. Children and teens under the age of 18 will not be able to use these computers.
Printing From Our Computers
Our printer can print and photocopy in both color and black and white. All of our computers are automatically connected to our printer. Your print job will be sent to a release station at the Circulation Desk. After you send your print job, stop by the Circulation Desk, provide a staff member with what number computer you were at, and they will release it for you.
Our prints and copies cost:
- $0.15 per side for black and white
- $0.35 per side for color
We are only able to accept cash for prints and copies.
Youth Room Computers
The Youth room has 8 computers available to use. To use the computers, you will need a current and up-to-date CWMARs library card in good standing (i.e. no late fees, no overdue items). If you do not have a library card, you can request a guest pass at the Circulation Desk. Per our policy, we will need to look you up in our system before providing a guest pass.
The computers have no filtering software allowing you access the internet as you see fit. Parents and legal guardians are expected to monitor their child when they access the internet. Please refer to our Internet Use Policy and our Unattended Child Policy for what behaviors are not allowed on library computers.
The computers in the Youth Room are for children and teens only. Adults ages 18 and older will not be able to use these computers.
Mobile Printing
At Hubbard Memorial Library, you can print from your mobile device including smartphone, tablet, or laptop. The device must be able to connect to the internet through WiFi. You can send your print job to us from anywhere. You don't have to be in the library to send it.
Printing costs:
- $0.15 per side for black and white
- $0.35 per side for color
We are only able to accept cash for print jobs.
The Hubbard Memorial Library has switched to Princh Printing for our mobile printing.
