Sing With Me! Summer outdoor/indoor session

10:30am - 11:00am

Lively music and movement for little ones and their grown ups!

If you have a little one who loves music, this program is for you! Join us for a half-hour of adult-&-child singing, clapping, and stomping along to favorite kids’ songs; the program will take place on the library lawn when weather allows with equipment set up during the live event for those who wish to participate virtually. During bad weather we'll meet indoors.
Drop-ins are fine for outdoor meetings, but an email with location & Zoom link for participation from home will be sent the night before each program and space is limited when we're indoors, so please register.

Summer Anime Club

3:00pm - 4:30pm

Anime at the Library!

A club for middle & high schoolers who are fans of anime & manga - or want to be!

The first week of each month is devoted to classic anime, which is good for tweens and teens who are just getting into anime (though more experienced fans can also enjoy delving into the classics), with an anime-expert staff member on hand to introduce the selection, talk a little about why it's considered a must-see, and lead a Q&A or discussion afterwards if wanted. On the second week of each month we'll have a watch party with more episodes from week one.

During the third week of each month we'll pull out some deep cuts that will appeal to seasoned fans (though beginners can enjoy them as well), with our staff expert on hand to introduce it and discuss afterwards, and on the fourth week we'll have a watch party with more episodes from the previous week.

The library will provide snacks every week, and we take requests!

Drop-ins are ok, but registration is appreciated so we know how much food to get! Please click below to register.
