Wandering into your kitchen and putting a little fresh fruit on your face isn’t as crazy as it sounds! Pumpkin is packed with fruit enzymes and alpha hydroxy acids, which increase cell turnover, to brighten and smooth the skin. Bananas are sometimes called “Nature’s Botox.” When you hear about the other ingredients in these simply decadent recipes, you’ll be tempted to eat the leftovers – and unlike chemical-filled masks, you can! Grounded Goodwife returns to help us learn how to mask naturally at this informative virtual class.

We are providing an ingredient list so that you may shop for the ingredients to follow along with the program or hop to it just after the program.

Occu-pie My Thoughts! Maple Pumpkin Sugar Scrub

- brown sugar
- pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie mix)
- maple syrup or honey
- oil (olive, grapeseed, jojoba, almond - your choice!)
- pumpkin pie spice, or cinnamon and nutmeg
- 8-ounce glass jar (Mason-type)

I’m Going Bananas! Facial Mask

- banana
- honey
- yogurt
- small mixing bowl

Events are more fun with friends!  If you have a friend who would like to join us, please forward them the link.

Now, time to use up that Halloween pumpkin and click the link below.  Enjoy!

When we remember to be thankful for each of the many little miracles we experience every day, happiness becomes a natural state of being.  But first we must stop looking and waiting for the "big" things and pay attention to what is happening all around and within us. This webinar teaches us how to become aware of little miracles and how to acknowledge and appreciate the precious gifts which life bestows upon us and then to “re-cycle” those miracles and gifts to others. This webinar is divided into two segments: lecture and question & answer period.  The topics covered include expressing gratitude, fostering forgiveness, sharing, and living in peace and harmony—and not just on Thanksgiving Day. Please register on our website or by calling. You will receive a webinar link prior to the event.
