Hubbard Memorial Library has been serving the local community for over a century.
The original 1890 building is one of Ludlow’s landmark treasures. Inside there’s a great collection of books, magazines, videos & DVDs for adults and kids, CDs & books on tape, and much more. The addition to the original building and renovation in 1990 made room for the “much more”. Take advantage of our online catalog, Internet access, & research databases (many available right from home).

We are happy to announce the completion of our 2024-2029 Strategic Plan. We thank the community for the helpful feedback. The plan has been approved by the Board of Library Trustees and submitted to and accepted by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. So what's next? The library director will work to implement the goals and objectives of the approved plan. We will review and evaluate the plan at the end of each year and evaluate our implementation of the set goals and objectives. We will then submit an action plan to the Board of Library Commissioners annually.
